Who is this person?
Hi, Amanda here.
I’ve been actively gardening inside and out since I moved into my house in 2017. There was a lot of forced gardening work in my youth, but that was under protest, ergo it doesn’t count. So, really just 8 years.
I went from that first spring grudgingly throwing a few plants into the front beds because I just didn’t want the house to look terrible to… full-blown gardening and plant nerd.
The outside spaces are where I spend most of my efforts, but the indoor plant collection is at maximum capacity as well. With a background in space design, organization, and efficiency, I pack more into little spaces than most reasonable people think feasible, while making it usable and beautiful.
I’ve tried a lot of things in the garden over the years, some worked, lots did NOT work (RIP so many plants), and all of it taught me something useful.
I love the process of trying things and learning (it never stops), but there are some lessons I am happy to help you AVOID learning the hard way.
Gardening is a delightful, muddy business, friends. I’m here to help you learn more, have fun, and grow things you love.
The house I bought in January 2017:

*Ok, significant help from my fiancé, but I clocked more solo hours!
